Yes, the chiropractic treatment is safe. We understand that there is a stigma around chiropractic not being safe, and that is why we love to take the time to communicate and walk through the adjustment and treatment process with our patients day one. We also have an X-Ray machine in office if there are any orthopedic tests performed that we need better clarity of the condition at hand.

This differs based upon each patient and their complaint. After the New Patient Exam, you will sit down with the Doctor, and go over your initial treatment plan that will best serve you and your body. Our goal is to get you feeling and moving better, and give you the tools to help keep you there.

Like many medical field occupations there are risks; however, that is why we love to educate our patients on those risks day 1 and take our time to assess you, your history, and your body to determine what treatment options are the best for you. 

They are not, however, you can be sore afterwards due the adjustment restoring motion in joints that have been stiff or not moving optimally. Your body is so use to its daily patterns that when you introduce motion, release a trigger point, or loosen up a tight muscle that it can react in an adverse way. This is why we like to see our patients more frequently in the beginning to help break up those bad patterns that your body has come to know. The “crack” sound is the release of air in the joints. As the “cracking” sound is what a lot of people relate to chiropractic, that is never the goal of the adjustment itself. We are looking to get movements within the joints, and help loosen or strengthen the muscles around those joints. We will never force a joint to move or “crack”, because at the end of the day that can cause more harm than good.

Yes! We take most insurances, and ask that patients bring in their insurance cards on day 1 so we can do a complimentary check of your chiropractic benefits.
